Not the Matterhorn

When you’re in a place like Zermatt and the skies are clear, you’re eyes are naturally drawn to the Matterhorn, closely followed by the camera. I’ve seen thousands of spectacular photos of this majestic mountain. I really can’t think of an angle that I haven’t seen. So here’s a photo without the Matterhorn.

Family Affair

I’ve spent the week up in Zermatt with family, family that is normally far away on the other side of the planet. Having such quality time with them as well as some unsettling events that have happened in the last couple of weeks have reminded me of what the important things in life really are.

I hope that everyone bought in the new year well.

There’s one flaw in my plan, my entire family from NZ and swiss cousins are here and they’re keeping me a bit busy.
