One of the problems in some of the public national parks is the closing and opening times of the gates, while I understand these times are to make sure the animals and people are safe from colliding into each other at night. Due to enforced times what tends to happen is you stay out as long as you can and rush back to the camp or gate at speed, which endangers everyone more. It also means for us photographer types that we sometimes have to shoot out the window of a moving car.
