When driving up to Whangarei from Auckland. You come over a hill and off in the distance you see the Whangarei heads. It’s interesting being back in New Zealand at this time of year. I haven’t been here in the colder months for so long I’ve forgotten how it is. Unlike Switzerland, Kiwis generally don’t have central heating so wandering round in shorts and a t-shirt all year round doesn’t happen that much.
