I went for a walk with my sister and her family the other day to the Whangarei falls. They’ve lived in Whangarei for quite a few years now and have never done it before, they’ve recommended it to many people. This seems to be quite common that when you live somewhere you never do the local “touristy” things. I come from and live in countries that have masses amounts of stuff to do for tourists. Yet I find that I only do the those things when I am travelling. It’s a bit of a shame really that we miss out on so much cause we think we’ll always have time to do it. I’m pretty sure there are plenty of people out there like me.
