One thing I dislike about many national parks in Africa is the need to race back to the camps by the time the sun goes down. There are two problems, one of them is the people that go there for photography miss out on some of the best light. The second is that everyone starts to speed to get back to the gate on time, which causes unnecessary danger to the animals.
This photo was taken on one of those races back to camp. There was another car ahead of us kicking up huge amounts of dust as we drove through this herd of Zebra, we quickly stopped to take a few shots as the dust and light created a slightly eerie atmosphere.
