A few years ago, Louise and I went on our first photographic safari in Africa. It was probably one of the most exhilarating intros to wildlife photography that you could have. Starting in some of the best wildlife parks on the planet, the northern parks of Tanzania.
I only wish I knew then what I knew now. I didn’t know much about the technical side of photography, f stop and shutter speed were words I kind of understood but wasn’t really sure about. I definitely didn’t know which f stop to use in which situation.
Here’s an old photo from 2007 taken on one of our first trips to Tanzania.
